About the TikTok photo downloader
How slideshow downloads work, what format the images come in and how to save them all at once.
01
How the TikTok photo downloader works
Copy the link of a TikTok photo post, paste it into the box at the top of the page and press Download. The TikTok photo downloader lists every slide, and you can save the ones you want or all of them together.
It works on iPhone, Android and desktop in the browser, with no app to install.
02
What you get from a photo download
A TikTok photo post is a set of images, usually with music. Paste its link and the tool detects that it is a photo post, then lists every image in order so you can save one or take them all.
The images are the originals the creator uploaded, without the TikTok watermark, so they work for mood boards, references and backups of your own posts.
Credit the photographer. Photos belong to whoever took them. Keep credit with the image and ask before you republish.
03
One image or all of them as a ZIP
Tap an image to save only that one. Choose Download all to receive a single ZIP file with every image in the order of the post, which is faster than saving them one by one.
On iPhone, tap the ZIP in the Files app to unzip it, then open the folder and save the images to Photos. On Android and desktop, open the ZIP with your file manager.
04
Saving the slideshow music
Most photo posts play a sound over the slides. Choose MP3 to save that audio separately, with the same rules as the MP3 downloader.
Images and sound are separate files, so you can keep either or both.
05
Format and size
Images are saved at the size the creator uploaded. We do not resize or recompress them, so file size depends on the original. A post of six photos is typically a few megabytes in total.
If an image looks small, the original was small; there is nothing to enlarge from.
06
If a download doesn't work
Most failures come from the link, not the tool. Check that you copied the whole link, that the post is still online and that it is public. A slideshow that shows only some images may be a video made from photos, which downloads as a video instead.
If everything looks right, wait a few seconds and try once more, because TikTok occasionally rate-limits requests. Region-locked posts can also fail. The troubleshooting guide walks through each cause in order.
